I wouldnt exactly call that getting rocked. It looked to me like he tried to stop and cut and lost his balance and hit the ref on the way down.

Yea this is just being dramatic. The first one earlier this year was a hit and looked very intentional where as it looks here like the ref tried to move and the runner changed direction last second. Now he threw a bit of an elbow but that was obviously to protect himself.

I know he wasn't really hit that hard, it was just an excuse to use the phrase. But I really can't remember this ever really happening before and this is twice now this year if you remember the Garcia tackle in the South Carolina game.

Right that was a tackle and to me blatant, however this looks much more like one person standing in position and not being able to move out of the way fast enough and being forced to defend himself. Not having some damn vietnam flashback and deciding you were going to form tackle the next SOB that came your way wearing black.

LOL, I said the same thing in a thread a few weeks ago.

TP, seems like I may be confusing Spikes with another guy. All I can find on Spikes is that he has been doubted pretty much his whole life.
