📝 Daniel McCullers

6'6" 380lbs - That's a BIG ol' boy! We have apparently offered this guy, and I believe the interest is mutual. With 3 spots left until we get to the maximum of 25 commits the staff will be very selective.

I see NT as a position of need for next years team. We're losing Chapman, and Gentry because they're Seniors. I think Jesse Williams is more suited to be a DE in our scheme. Brandon Ivory has the size, and I think he will be a good one, but he doesn't have much experience.

I think everyone understands the importance of the NT in our 3-4 Scheme, so with that being said do we make room for McCullers? Or are we even his top choice? Like Mt. Cody, he moves very well for a man of his size.

We have only three more slots available for 2012. I am not sure if wehave a slot left from the 2011 class and coulled count one as a back counter. Does anyone know about who will be enrolling in january?

I'm not real up to date with this class, so I'm not real sure who, if anybody will be enrolling in January. But I was thinking that with the new SEC recruiting rules a team was only allowed to sign 25 prospects, regardless if they were eligible for back counters. I might be misinformed, but that was my interpretation of it.

Back when we were struggling to win 8 games in a season, I paid a WHOLE lot more attention to recruiting. And it seems like the recruiting board used to have a lot more action. Kinda funny to think how your priorities change when you're winning 10 games a year like it's nothing. Now we're discussing football and championships as opposed to looking for what the future might hold. Saban's got us spoiled...

I am right there with you. I used to really be excited and even apprehensive on national Signing Day, but from a Bama perspective the last couple have been pretty hum drum affairs.

I think that the 25 limit is for any given class. Obviously those early enrollees wouldn't have to sign on NSD if there was room in an earlier class.
