This is a subjective question. Does winning a title make you elite? If so then Trent Dilfer is an elite QB. Joe Flacco is elite. So is Doug Williams, Jeff George, Jim McMahon, and Mark Rypien. Or do you have to win multiple titles? What about passing stats? What about winning games but not winning a championship? Guys like Dan Marino, Fran Tarkenton, and Jim Kelly were great QBs who won games and threw for lots of yards and TDs, but they don't have a ring. Elite is a subjective categorization that is hard to define. Personally I love Jalen Hurts and think he's a good QB and a great guy. But he doesn't have 5000 yds passing and 50 TDs. He hasn't won 7 titles in his career. He may not even be the best player on his team. He may end up being an elite QB. Is he one of the best QBs in the game right now? Sure. But let's wait until some years have passed before we use the elite label.

IMO he is not elite he has a great team around him and an elite defense.

He's elite. He is a winning QB. I think that will hold up over his career & will be THE seperating factor in his stats. He wins.

21 of those have started multiple games.
So, that gives us 97 different QB's until we take out multiple appearances.
Now we have to take out 51 for the repeats: 48.
The winners: 24.

If he wins another SuperBowl (And I think he will), I think his elite. Dan Patrick was mentioning all these other guys saying they're elite that have NOT even played in a SuperBowl.... It's stupid.

Everyone has a different definition of elite. With mine, I'm not sure I'd consider him an elite QB, at least not yet. What he is, is a guy that won't be outworked. He's tough as hell. He's a player that has come a long way in a short amount of time (which bodes well for his future still). As mentioned earlier, he's a good dude too. And I do think he is the perfect fit for that Eagles offense. Not to say he wouldn't succeed elsewhere, but he's in a great spot right now. This was close to being his 2nd Super Bowl title... and he sure didn't cost them the first one by any means. I'd guess he will probably get another shot too... and he's not a guy I'd bet against in that situation if so.

If his arc continues, I could see him ending up as a better Russell WIlson. Which elite or not, however you want to stamp it, puts him in Canton at the end of his career.

There have been four QB's in NFL history that have put up 33 points in multiple Super Bowl appearances. Two you'll quickly think of; Montana and Brady.

Here's what caught my attention. The other two are UA alum: Starr and Hurts.
