Posted this tweet on Ansley thread but figured newsworthy /rumor-worthy enough for own thread. I'm not big NFL guy, but isn't Rapaport somewhat respected as someone who knows schitt?

Daboll gone....to NFL OC...what in the hell did any NFL team see in Daboll....
...Sorry....i for one saw nothing that excited me....
bama won on offensive talent...and Defense....period....
Poor clock management....running failed plays over n over..best RB becoming missing during games...no improvement..or little...in talented QB.....
I hope he is gone.....to much talent to hold this team back...

Nick is going to have to find some Big League recruiters and that should prove interesting with this early signing day already in the books. I think Nick would retain Daboll for next year now that he has a QB that has more success with throwing.

Remember ..it's not the arrow..it's the Indian

I don't see Daboll heading back to the NFL after an NC year at Alabama. Unless coach Saban is not happy. Daboll expressed himself specifically on a number of articles how much they have enjoyed the southern culture and felt his family was adapting well to Tuscaloosa.

He has had a few stints as an NFL coordinator and knows the fleeting nature of success without an elite QB. Maybe, just maybe if it's Belichick who comes a calling, but Tom Terrific has some serious mileage on those tires.

Listen Ansley, did a great job recruiting, Daboll is fine but not a huge fan of his play calling but he may have been limited by the talents he was using at QB. We still have a few all star coaches and recruiters for linebackers,(hopefully next DC), o-line and running backs. We need to freshen the coaching staff some and get some more heavy hitting recruiters back in here.
