🏈 Cyrus Kouandjio says he's '50-50' about leaving Alabama early for NFL Draft

Interesting. I thought it was a given that he would turn pro. I think he might want one more year to play beside his brother. Personally, I don't think Hubbard, Pagan, or HaHa are ready to turn pro, but that's just my opinion. I know someone said that Pagan hates school, so he's probably gone. The way Hubbard has filled out, I would imagine another year would make him even more of a beast.

All of them say that but he already knows what his decision is gonna be.

HaHa is one of the most pro ready DBs in the country, so yeah dont know where that comes from. I want him to stay too but hes definitely read. I dont think Pagan is ready tho but he will probably go. Hubbard almost left last year so I find it hard to believe he would possibly stay this year.

Ha-Ha is as good as gone IMO. He's a late 1st round to early 2nd round.

I still don't see why Pagan feels the need to leave. Hubbard also. Both have really never reached their full potential and have had that break out year. Upshaw and Hightower had those years, as did McClain, and Barron. These two, while have been good, just not what they should be. Inconsistent would be the word I'm searching for I guess. If they return this year, the defense yet again could probably be one of the tops in the nations and they could improve their stock big time.

Anyways, I digress. I believe Cyrus will leave. Love for him to stay, but looking at it now, he's got his degree, and he will probably go in the 1st round.

I see this statement by CyKo as nothing more than a rehearsed answer and in a few weeks we'll see Saban announce a press conference about him leaving (with the others.)

I think he needs to stay. This year was not as good for him as last year in my eyes. False starts and holding calls had me wondering what was going on all season long. I understand having an All-American line last year maybe took some pressure off, but I feel like one more year would make him a Top 5 pick. Another chance to work towards perfection. Just my two cents though.

Just something for you guys to chew on for a bit with Pagan.

Think about his playing time this past season and then add the progression we've seen with guys like A'shawn and what we're going to be seeing with a guy like Johnathan Allen.

Does his playing time increase or decrease in 2014? Chances are, at best, it remains the same. But, I'd suspect he would get fewer snaps because of the younger guys we have in the program now and a few that are coming up for next season.

He's likely proven all he can at this level.
