I find it interesting because you can see/hear opinions change as things get closer. It's entertaining. I didn't hear Booger say anything about Ridder running the ball until he heard Pollack say, "he needs to get around 70 on the ground." In yesterday's podcast with Negandhi he points to a key, "60-70 on the ground for Ridder."

It is fun to listen to all of the Talking Heads go on and on up to a certain point, and then you just want everyone to shut the hell up! It’s funny because if you read some of the sports writers up in Cincinnati they are all pointing out the way Cincinnati could beat Alabama which of course they have to because they wright in Ohio for some local newspaper, but I have yet to see one national headline that says they think Cincinnati wins, it’s the old blah blah blah this is what they need to do to win but you know gun to their head nobody is gonna go with Cincinnati.

Then again, I have yet to see any of the sports writers or commentary experts suit up for the game so it doesn’t really matter.

Rat poison gentlemen and not the yummy type . As far as wash rinse repeat media, I really stopped listening to the 24x7 coverage of CFP because once you hear it once you have heard all you need to hear to get the jest of the drum they are going to beat.

I think it takes more time and effort to find perspectives to listen to than most people are willing to spend. Unless you're lucky and have a good local afternoon drive time host sports radio doesn't carry the content any longer.

I caught Booger and Negandhi when I was on my ride this morning. I heard Aaron Suttles and Cincy's beat writer (same publication) on Andy Staples podcast. Andy had two guys from UGA and Michigan as well.

There's seven different opinions I weighed against what I'm thinking. Some of their views were ludicrous, others pertinent. In spite of the flaws it was entertaining.

I'll tell ya what. I'm not saying "listen to their advice" but if you want some information overload on college football, teams, and trends, I think you'd enjoy Chris Fallica and Steve Coughlin.

Terry is right. I've heard same thing and I'm sitting back wondering if they realize that their takes doesn't make sense.

That's not going to Stop Bama doing what they want to do. Boogie's talk, That reminds me of the article and it sounds similar to what he said, so I looked it up and boom: Defending a Key Receiver

IF Cincy does what Boog said... I think we'll see lot of motions, oribital, RPO, etc. We'll line our Receivers close to OL as much as we can and force them to adjust.

If I'm right: Young will throw over 250 yards and 3 TD, Billingsley or Latu has over 60 yards catching with least 1 TD. One of the young receiver will have a huge game.. whether it's blocking, making plays, etc.

The job of the talking heads is to get viewers. This means they have to play to the crowd so many times. Its just part of the pre-game hype and build up.
64Tide has the right idea. If the narrative being spewed is agitating, just chill and wait for kickoff. I just want Bama to dominate them (whoever "them" is)

Screw the talking heads. I know my team better than they do and have done my own homework on Cincy. Cliff notes.. they are good but not as deep or talented as we should be. We are much more talented but young and thin at some key spots.

I believe and have all year that we are significantly down from where we have been for the last several years and now even more of our limited experience is now out or limited for the year. I believe that Cincy has a huge advantage in experience and some "old man strength"

I think if our Oline takes this negative press to heart and plays well allowing us to run it on their undersized line I believe we can control the game for a reasonably comfortable win. If not and we allow them to control the ball and feild position this is going to be closer than we want.

We don't give a crap how or who you want to defend. We have weapons at every position. Key to stop the run, we'll pass. Key to double Jamo, we'll throw to a different WR or a TE or run the ball. I mean, I would hate to try and come up with a scheme to defend Alabama... cause you know whatever it is you do will leave something else open that will get taken advantage of. I appreciate the media taking the time to discuss things like this pre semi-final game press conference with players who get to speak to the media so often. It's exactly what I wanted to know.

So you expecting him to have an off night ? I am reading over 250 to mean somewhere around that. I know 350-400 yards is over 250 but I would expect something around that range.

I laugh at most of the "Keys to the game" in defending Bama. Our Offense is predicated on the take what the Defense gives you rule first and foremost. We don't give a crap how or who you want to defend. We have weapons at every position. Key to stop the run, we'll pass. Key to double Jamo, we'll throw to a different WR or a TE or run the ball. I mean, I would hate to try and come up with a scheme to defend Alabama... cause you know whatever it is you do will leave something else open that will get taken advantage of. We are not a one trick pony.

Bryce definitely allows us to be the most unpredictable offense in the country. We may be inexperienced in some areas and hurt up in others, but we have a few key players that are good enough to level us off to where we are still a VERY tough out and a traditional gameplan won't work.

We have shown we can whip the best defense. We have shown we can stop a good offense. We have shown we can rise to the occasion, and that is more dangerous than any talking point.

I don’t think Cincy can stop the run consistently for 60 minutes. I’d like to see Robinson pounding them 4, 5, or 6 times in a row until a RPO has Williams open for 30 yard gains. Rinse and repeat for 3 1/2 quarters until the young guys come in.
