Wasn't he the guy who was unsuccessful in MLB and then came on as QB? Started a little bit around some injuries to our starter, then quit and would've played much more because of further injuries, if I remember.

Even though I didn't know him, he's the 17 I would have chosen to post today as well. We went to high school together; he graduated a year ahead of me.

We lost Siran Stacy, Craige Sanderson, and Prince Wimbley to season ending injuries and things were not looking good in Knoxville when we suddenly snatched victory out of the jaws of defeat.

Phillip Doyle wins it 9 to 6 the hard way. Next to Van Tiffin's 52 yarder, my favorite.

Not just lost to season injury but in consecutive weeks!! I was a sophomore on that team. While things looked gloomy, the team never wavered from believing in Coach Stallings.

My favorite #18 with his 2 biggest fans! My freshman year with my late grandparents. Lost my grandmother to cancer my junior year and last October, my grandfather passed away from a massive stroke, just a week before the Vile game. Love them and miss them dearly. RTR!!
