Not sure if anyone caught this but Lee Corso received a contributing to college football award last night and you just have to watch his reception speech.

I got teary eyed watching that last night.

I missed it last night but saw Cowherd talking about it this morning so I googled it. No way you can watch that without tearing up.

He is awesome, and I'm not sure Gameday will be worth watching without him. Folks always took him way too seriously, and never understood his act. I will miss him if he is indeed retiring, and he is the type of personality that ESPN can never replace (and no, Lou Holtz, you couldn't hold his jock).
