I have been doing a little Heisman reading lately just to get a feel for who these media types think has a lead heading into Championship weekend in a couple of weeks. @TerryP has expressed how Mike Farrell at Rivals is just a poor sport when it comes to Alabama whenever he can try and take recognition from the program. Here is another example of that. I refuse to sign up for Twitter, but I wish someone here would destroy him over Twitter on his comments. To me it's a situation, muchlike the presidential election, where just because he posts it, so many will believe it without researching it. For one, Trask and Jones have the same amount of interceptions. Two, Jones is more efficient with higher completion percentage, yards per attempt, QB rating etc. He is correct that Najee and Davonta may take a few votes away, but considering Mac has 130 less yards, and could erase that with ten more completions per the math, Trask has not really exceeded any kind of barrier that Mac hasn't either, especially with 67 more attempts. Najee has syphoned off 20 touchdowns from Mac and the passing attack, and some long runs at that, whereas the Gator offense has mustered six if my research is correct. All in all, someone do me a favor, and Mac a favor and light Farrell up over this.
