🏈 Commentary: How USC will shock the world

Wow... I dont mind fans being fans or even homer writers but at least give some type of reasoning.. He thinks the two reasons SC will win are because Spurrier is coaching and "used" to be the best in college football and because Alabama is supposed to win. Writing on little yellow buses really should be banned or at least looked into.

The first is that Alabama, a 17-point favorite, is supposed to win. When the Gamecocks take a late lead, how will the favorites respond? The players will turn to coach Nick Saban and Saban will tell them, "I'm a great recruiter."
But innovation will be required, and it will be too late.
The second reason is Spurrier, the great innovator. Spurrier won a national championship at Florida and, more impressively, an ACC championship at Duke.
He once was the best football coach in the country, and magic still lurks beneath his visor. It has been simmering. And as the late and oh-so-great John Lee Hooker sang, "It's in him and it got to come out."
It comes out Saturday in suddenly sullen Tuscaloosa.

Wow, solid reasoning there.

The writer is just trying to give the fans hope with rah-rah tactics........its nice to dream your team may beat a better opponent but 95% of the time reality rules the day.
Alabama 28
Carolina 13

the comments about spurrior building florida are BS...

charlie pell bought the players that put florida on the map.. spurrior inherited a solid team that just got off probation and kept them on track to play great football.. sound familiar?

in 83, 84, and 85 florida had an 85% win record.. not exactly a program in shambles..
