📡 Collin Sexton named in Yahoo investigative article in Basketball's corruption scandals

The kid is very talented. JMO but it looks like the rest of the players stand around watching Sexton thus the rest of the team isn't growing as a team. I am not a big fan on one and done. UK and Cal does a great job but hell they get 4 in one class instead of 1. Sure Big Blue is having a down year based on their past team.

Uhhhh... okay...

At least there isnt anything else that's coming out. Auburn is seriously going along as if they can just shut their eyes and ears and pretend like nothing is going on and that they can just wish all this away or something.

According to the documents, he checked in with six ASM clients, including Jarell Martin, now with the Memphis Grizzlies, who “is not moving into the house he intended because they wouldn’t accept his snakes.” He spoke with or planned meetings with a bevy of college coaches, ranging from the obscure – Eastern Michigan coach Rob Murphy (“He thinks he has an NBA guy”) – to three of the men eventually arrested in the sweeping federal probe of the underbelly of basketball: Oklahoma State assistant coach Lamont Evans, USC assistant coach Tony Bland and sneaker executive Merl Code.

There are basketball figures from every level in the documents: Meetings with Nick Stapleton (“Trainer of Collin Sexton, the best rising Sr. PG in America”), Johnnie Parker (“handler of Chimezie Metu”) and financial maven Rudy Cline-Thomas (“He has a close relationship with Festus Ezeli, who may be firing [agent Bill] Duffy”).

The death march for the one and done? What the NBA started has been the death knell for college basketball. The pros are gonna have to figure out how to develop young talent through their minor league system. A developmental league solves all problems associated with the ugly underbelly of sneaker contracts, agents on the take along with head coaches and their assistants. The NBA started this and they are going to have to finish it.
