Coaches / Analysts breaking down the Bama vs Clemson game

Well, I've watched the replays enough to get the general consensus that Evans didn't play near enough. These spreads teams have got to be stopped on the edge and for but a few plays we come a cropper.

Pretty sure I saw Jeremy Pruitt in the coaches box taking mental notes.

I agree with you about Evans as I feel the guy would have kicked tail all year long with more playing time. I do feel like once we made an adjustment at halftime they realized they needed him and Hand, guys with speed, to ghost and go after Watson. I'm not sure of the stats from 1st half to 2nd half, but I do feel Evans in the 2nd half cause a lot of disruption and therefor I see his playing time increase as part of the adjustments we made.

The transition from guys like Hubbard/Devall to guys like Williams/Evans/Christian Miller will be a welcomed adjustment. No longer neccessary to stack up against the run with the quality of interrior D Lineman and MLB's... Just need OLB's to be competent vs the run and dominate in pass rushing/QB spying.

Really like how the staff started making that adjustment in recruiting 3-4 years ago. There's a stable of studs waiting to be unleashed! RTR
