What's Roy's injury?

The last question re: Roy Upchurch's status...what causes neck spasms? How long to heal? Not to sound stupid but did he get hit awkwardly in practice leading up to the LSU game?

It wasn't football related according to the medical staff.

I'd say the majority of the time it is a pinched nerve of some sort...and, a great deal of them come from something as normal as sleeping and you just happened to get in a weird position.
