"Y'know, God really has been good to me," Kines said. "I'm still around the players, but I never realized how ready I was to get out until I did get out. Those teams I coached with, they aren't slouches. I've had a blessed life. But you get out and say, 'Hey, there is a life outside of football' and I'm really enjoying that now."

So many ex-coaches are bitter. Coach Kines appears to have found the secret to a happy life. Remembering the good, but looking forward, not back. I'm so glad he's enjoying himself.

God bless him! He started off as hardly a fan favorite by many (4th and 19 :? )but ended up being loved by all.
