Texas wins 3-2 in the NCAA finals.

Once again, our golf team ends up playing on 18 with a chance to win. The guys did it yesterday, the women won the NCAA in the same fashion.

It simply wasn't in the cards today.

The regular season ended with Texas ranked #1, Bama ranked #2. The post-season ends the same.

It was a hell of a run for the Bama team.

Agreed, was trying to be greedy and try to win this National Championship as well. The golf team's seem to be in good hands.

No kidding.

If anything, it shows just how tough the upper-echelon of teams are in the collegiate golf rankings.

One thing for sure. Those that don't follow golf take heed. There is a HUGE difference in stroke play and match play.

And, just because you see a team win the SECC's by 25 strokes doesn't mean it'll translate over to match play in the end.

They did a hell of a job. I won't take that away from the guys.
