🏈 Chris Carter recruiting for Bama...???

Did you guys watch the Saints and Falcons game? Chris Carter was one of the broadcast announcers for the game. Ridley went off with 3 TDs and looked great opposite Julio. Carter kept gushing about how NFL teams such as the Falcons are saying, "Give me all the Bama WR you got! We will take them all as Julio and Ridley are killing it in the NFL. They come out of Alabama ready to compete and take over the NFL." It was great to hear on National TV. It brought a smile to my face. I didn't expect it from Carter at all but it should be great for recruiting.

Carter has always been pretty vocal supporting UA program and players. Even during the "Duron Unicorn season" he never bad mouthed Bama or CNS. I always got the feeling he knew the shortcomings were with Duron and that CNS gave him every opportunity.

I don't know the whole story about Carter's son, but I am pretty sure I remember someone explaining it to me a little and that they said his own dad blamed his son and still praises Alabama. My version could be worng, but I am pretty sure that's how I remember them explaining the story.

I think Chris got a lot of respect for BAMA and Saban when his son came here and even though he never seen the field . It wasn’t from a lack of trying to help the young man , but you haft to want the help and want to change or your just pissing in the wind .... but in that short time Chris saw what all coach did for his players to develop on and off the field...

And I believe he saw how far CNS went with Duron to try and get him straightened out. Don't forget that CC had his troubles early in the league. He still credits Coach Ryan with saving his life by cutting him from the Eagles. CC understands tough love

Carter's been high on Bama for awhile. It's kinda interesting considering how things went with his son but looks like he realizes that was on Duron.

He's actually one of the better receivers in the CFL right now. Well, he was for four years at least, then the Toronto moved him to cornerback because they had a ton of injuries and then released him last month and literally no one understood it. He'll probably end up in the AAF and maybe get a shot in the NFL again.

At this point though - It's getting really hard to hate on the Bama dudes. The fact that Foster and Sims both made rosters after getting like 12 pass attempts in 4 years is extremely impressive.... (Although it probably caused some frustration on their end)
