There’s a new ACC logo, and ESPN’s Brett McMurphy was the first to bring it to us.

It’s like other logos, except it’s kind of in italics and stuff. It’s a logo. The ACC had a logo before and now it has a new logo. Someday it will probably have another new logo, and everyone will freak out about it then, too.

Because we are contractually obligated to bring you logo news, we are bringing it to you so that you can react accordingly and decide to have strong feelings associated with it.


Logos make the world go round. If you really think about it, we are all logos. I believe the logos are our future. I believe in a thing called logos. In a big country, logos stay with you. Logos. ACC. Football.

Too much, probably. Branding is big dollars, usually with obtuse reasoning behind it. I think it's pretty obvious what they've done here.

I do sign and graphic work for the ACC, and changing out old logos equals
