Coaching in college football is a nomadic career. However, I can anticipate several coaching wives jumping up and down in excitement when their husband tells them, “Honey, we’re moving again . . . to Tuscaloosa.”

I bet the families are 100% on board to get to Ttown. It should be a huge career boost to anyone’s career. Kiffin, Sark, Smart, Pruitt just the ones right off the top of my head.

We have confirmed the reports that running backs coach Charles Huff is leaving Alabama to be the next head coach of the Marshall Thundering Herd. Marshall will likely make an announcement soon
First.. Marshall has good support from community of Huntington WVA...nice town ...
Nice school ( did graduate work there)...good place to live for them
This bama staff will be new for sure.... lots of new energy...little complacency...
Be exciting to watch develop...
So that would get us to 8 but not the 11 I had heard. I guess they are including analyst. To me the bigger impacts are the coordinators and position coaches but the GOAT may not agree with that.
So mainly coaches on the offensive side except for Strong. Probably no surprises once Sark made his decision. Any updates on O'Brian? Has he taken the OC position? What about Stoutland? I would think the OC would want to have a say in the staff hiring's on the offensive side.

O'Brien is working in the building. I doubt any official announcement will be made until other spots are filled, unless that part drags on. Stoutland is waiting on offers, from what I understand, his preference is to remain in the NFL if the situation is right (he will be highly sought after in the NFL if he isn't retained by the Eagles). Former UA staffer Joe Pannunzio (who has most recently been in the Eagles front office), is a strong possibility to replace Banks. At the very least, I think Sumlin will have an analyst spot if he wants it.
Need a good OL coach. I think O'Brian has the OC knowledge needed to come in and keep the offense producing. Very unlikely it will be at the record numbers of this year but they will still be very good.
Any changes on D side other than Strong as an analyst?

All the coaches get intertest from other programs, but Golding has gotten a lot of interest. I think Saban will be able to keep him though. Scott and Kelly have also rebuffed others, up to this point.
