Not Bama related, but I just heard that former LSU safety and Giants draft pick Chad Jones has been in a very serious auto accident. Let's all in the college athletics family be lifting him up in prayer.

dang, that sucks. i hope he is ok...my thoughts are with the jones family.

What I'm hearing, and by no means is it definitive, is that the doctors are trying to save his leg. Appears to be career ending, if true! What a horrible tragedy.

Hate to hear about this. Maybe the docs can save the leg, even if his career is over.

Apparently they were able to save his leg, though the NFL now becomes very unlikely.
