As far as exotic blitzes what I was thinking is that not much pressure has been put on Jones this year because the OL has just been that good. One other point is that Venables was going to bring blitzes from different looks and locations. Is that exotic? Maybe not. The point is he was not going to just sit back and let Jones pick his D apart.

Yep based on historical info but not necessarily applied to this years team. I only saw 3 Clemson games this year, the 2 ND games and then the semifinal game. Only 1 out of 3 did Clemson look anything like their teams of the past.

Yes at least in the first half when they jumped out in the lead. Even during that game I do not pay as close attention as I do with Bama games . With that data point the ND offense is a far cry from the Bama offense.
