| FTBL CFB- The Playoffs: Round One: Texas, Ohio State, PSU, and Notre Dame advance

I try and not watch the Vile orange team but flipped it over just in time to see the Vile Right Tackle get abused and their QB get sacked. The cherry on top it is 35-10. Great to see the Viles getting drilled.

Saw where the dumb Vile players came out of the locker room w/o shirts on. This is what I always loved about Saban, he did not allow stupid crap like this to occur because it has NOTHING to do with beating the other team. Nonsense and right up teams like the Viles and Barn programs alley.

And osu isnt really that good.

They are the most dangerous team in the playoffs, IMO. Not the best, and they probably won't win it... but if they play to their potential (much like Bama) they could run them all. Unlike suck ass SMU or Boise, they have talent galore. And talent wins, even despite crap coaching sometimes. See also: LSU's 2 most recent national titles.

I guess if we are going to hammer SMU and Indiana about not belonging in the playoffs, we have to say the same thing about the Viles, correct? I thought Bama should have beaten them in Knoxville and think they along with there Fulmer 2.0 coach were/are overrated.

It's what makes the whole 12 team thing so weird... the fact that it's incredibly fluid week to week, and the music just all of a sudden stops one day and you have 12 teams standing. 2 weeks before the music stopped, the Vols were out of it. What made them playoff worthy in those 2 weeks? They beat UTEP and Vandy and a couple of other teams like Bama lost a game. If the season had continued 2 more weeks, and Bama won 2 more and the Vols lost to say, LSU... then they'd have been back out of it. And while I did think OSU would win tonight, I didn't expect that ass kicking... I was thinking a 10-14 point win. I do wonder though how it would have played out if that game had been in Neyland.

If you’re in need of a few good laughs spend a few minutes on VolNation. If you have more than a few minutes, start looking at pregame comments then jump to the halftime pages before going to the last 10 or so pages. Wrap your ribs tight beforehand or you’re liable to break one or two.

That face mask call on their first defensive series turned the game. Yes, funny to say so early, but had an impressive stop quick and then two plays later touchdown. 21-0 fast after that.
