He's a lefty. Since the closest and the furthest centers have their hands on the laces, when the ball is snapped it will move from this | to this --- position. The centers don't spin the ball to move the laces.

With all due respect, I believe all three centers have the balls set correctly for perfect snaps to their respective QBs - middle being a lefty and the two outer being righties. When the ball goes from longitudinal pre-snap to latitudinal to the QB's hands, the laces in each case will be just right for the respective QB.

If the center has his hand and/or fingers on the laces, how do the laces get into the QB's hand?

Keep in mind this is just MTC. It could be the center prefers it that way and the QB adjusts in an attempt to reduce bad snaps. I know I used to start with the ball like I wanted it. I would stick it uder the center and he would take it, place it on thee ground, and that is how he had to snap it. It could be the QB just wants his thumb on the laces. :think:
