Football National Title Celebration to Be Held Saturday, January 21, at Bryant-Denny Stadium
The University of Alabama will celebrate the Crimson Tide football team's 2011 National Football Championship on Saturday, January 21, at 2 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium
My memory of '92 celebration was that we lost some commitments, or shot at them, due to them being ignored while festivities were going on. I have read others say they like the parade though.
After reading this I am not sure why we do not have a parade:headscratch:. Living here in Mobile we love parades and you really feel llike you are participating in the event during a parade. I think you are asking for a sparce crowd when you have the celebration in the stadium.
The same man that's responsible for bringing another title to Tuscaloosa is responsible for the celebration. This is exactly what he wants, so don't look for a change in any future championships as well. I'm out of town this weekend with friends, so I won't be there. If you're local or reasonably close it's definitely worth it. For me coming from ATL not so much. I went to the last one and never say never but not my favorite event for the time invested. Roll Tide though and enjoy if you're going.
I know i have heard that the other school down the road from us celebration last year was a lot better but what do you expect, they only get the chance every 50 years or so to have one
I went with my dad. He had a blast. I still remember Copeland and Curry with those big ol' cigars. Am I hallucinating or was the poor old man that voted Bama #1 all year (grand Marshall) walking?
