1) Not shocked.
2) Don't give a flip about diving, and I put swimming on a lower platform.
3) Haven't watched a minute of the Olympics, on purpose.

That said, it reminds me of one of the most disappointing sports moments of my life outside of Bama football stories.

1980 Winter games. I was living in Huntsville at the time and absolutely glued to the TV watching the USA vs Russia game. The local ABC station has a commercial, one of those "tonight at 10 on ABC News..."

They led off their promo with "USA defeats Russia..." before the replay was over and before I knew the how the game had been decided. Talk about a mix of emotions! I loved the fact the team had won, but quickly became outraged they had ruined the experience.

Outside of football, specifically Alabama football, stories what comes to mind when you think of things like these two?
