📡 CBS reports TX and OU looking at 24

They {} big12} shouldn't have worked so hard to accomadate Texas all those years. they're more of a G5 conference now.
As has the NCAA to an extent. I read a report of a guy who sang the anthem at the WCWS where he gave the "horns down" sign at the end. He was scheduled to sing at the CWS as well but his appearance was canceled. He was told it was his display/lack of respect towards Texas.

I'll be disappointed if we see the SEC follow the Big12 by making that gesture unsportsmanlike conduct.

I take a little different view of this. I'm fine with the person singing the National Anthem showing their support for their team, but not disparaging the other team. Every time a Big 12 team flashes the horns down instead of whatever catchy hand sign they've created to support their team, it says more about Texas living in their heads than dissing them.

You're making the distinction with the point it was after the anthem?

Rival fans don't like hearing Ramma Jamma after losses. Alabama fans have heard rival fans use the RJYH cheer when the Tide takes a loss. It goes both ways, right?

My point is this. If they're going to allow "horns up," they should allow "horns down."

@It Takes Eleven

Seems its just part of CF mentality..... corn dogs, rammer jammer, horns down, scattering field with debris, nasty vulgar remarks ( lsu), etc

Some worse than others...some funny ( horns down)....some obnoxious ( Rocky Top 200-300 times during game n cow bells elsewhere ).....
