If Ely Gold is available on radio I slow down the game on tv to synchronize it. It's fantastic until I I see a post on here about the score or play before it happens. LOL Saturday the delay was over a minute. My wife flicks between the game and hallmark so I can't watch with her. Gary is ok but he is neutral until it suits his narrative to be biased. He does know the game.

I personally didn't mind Uncle Verne and I loved the late, Keith Jackson. As for GD, it is well known that I DO NOT care to listen to him doing the color commentary on a game.

I think it's the inability to articulate their thoughts into words in a pleasing tone. Most people dislike them because they constantly fumble with words, names, or information. I honestly like Ness and Gary more than I liked Verne and Gary but it's obvious it needs to be Ness and InsertFootballAnalysthere for the next year. Gary is interesting, but his views are old and he's struggling understanding today's offenses
