Don't you think we would beat the crap out of Oklahoma?

With the exception of the Fiesta Bowl it looks like we'll have some decent ball games to watch.

Clemson vs Ohio State? That might be an interesting ball game. Love the Rose Bowl match-up!!

I wish Bama could play Stanford or Michigan State and at least shut up one of those conferences. I hope the team doesn't feel the way I feel about playing Oklahoma. Could this be another 2008 Utah.

I love ALL the Bowl games. If history has taught me anything, it's that some of the best and/or most memorable games are sometimes the smaller ones. The 2011 New Orleans bowl, for example, saw the spirited Louisanna-Lafayette Ragin Caguns go back and forth with the favoured San Diego State Aztecs. State thought they had the game wining TD with 30 secs left, but those Cajuns using the last 29 seconds of the game, drove the field and won on a 50-plus field goal by the sometimes questionable kicker Brent Baer. Easily the best finish to any bowl game that year.

Its not far fetched to think we could come out flat against OU, but I think the team still uses that game as motivation for the post-season. Also add to the fact that this is Aj's and CJ's last game, so I think mentally, the team will be there. Saban has many ways to motivate his team, and he does a great job of it; however, I would put the 2009 Sugar bowl up there just to remind everyone of what can happen if you're not mentally prepared. I think with the teams leadership, OU will get a very pissed of 'Bama team.

A little irony here in "at least shut up one of those conferences" when it was Stoops that was running his mouth about the SEC.

Bring on OU.

For the past few seasons I have wanted to see us play Oregon but Oklahoma is better than having to play UCF! It will be nice to beat Stoops after his anti SEC banter earlier this season.

I'm as disappointed as anybody that we aren't in the BCSNC game, but I seem to have a more positive view of playing Oklahoma than most Alabama fans. Oklahoma is by any measure one of the top two or three best football programs of all time. They are in a bit of down cycle right now, but they are still college football royalty, like Alabama.

For sure, plus they have a great fan base. True blue Sooners. I imagine it will be a fun game atmosphere.
