I think it has been allowed to calm down a little due to the off week that the Barn had last week. I imagine in my opinion, people are sitting on things just for this week. Hell, it could be Friday morning when we get up and get ready to make the trip to T'town.

As far as indictments go, I would expect them to come out later. I think it will be more news with more meat and substance to it that comes out this week. It wouldn't surprise me if the people in Vegas didn't have some idea of this with the spread starting at 4pts.

Think about it...the spread at 4 is not out of line IMO. We get 3 points for being at home, so that extra point seems spot on. I mean the Barn does have a very suspect defense and has barely eeked out their wins on the road with the exception of Ole Miss. I think the odds makers have it right.

I expect us to start hearing some news regarding Cam's recruitment out of North Carolina within the next couple of days. Maybe as early as this afternoon. I could be wrong, but I sure wouldn't be surprised about it.

I agree but so many people want to say that since they are undefeated and we have 2 losses then they should be favored. I am not in that class. I have thought all along that we would be favored regardless. I thin klike you,that some more damaging news will come out and the spread will balloon.

The way I understand it, after the FBI got involved everyone lawyered up.

Kinda reduced it all to a snails pace,. The idea is the knowledge that the FBI can demand cooperation, where as the NCAA can just ask for it.

The FBI wont play its hand sooner than it has to, this is to avoid lawyers and what not getting an ealier start at discrediting the information. This could be due the supposed involvement of McGregor, where jail time is likely involved in his case, and wouldnt want to give lawyers any possible grounds to rule info out.

That and, FBI and Lawyers tend to shut cases off from the public eye until court, usually for the reasons i listed.

I don't think the NCAA or SEC will allow that.

This is why I expect some kind of preliminary ruling before the SECCG or the possible BCS bowl to force the process forward. Right now, if they did that, Auburn wouldnt have enough time to get cam reinstated(haha) if they can provide evidence to the contrary. The NCAA is not going to let itself get embarrassed by Auburn though.

I want the NCAA or the SACS hammer via FBI to come down b/4 the bowl & not after the SEC CG.

I just don't think it is fair to other schools (TCU or BS) if AU fills their spot when AU wasn't eligible. Those two schools should be get their representatives to put major heat on FBI heads to atleast get info to the NCAA.
