šŸˆ Can't wait for lane kiffin to leave

I scream at the TV all the time to just run the damn ball. His non challant, arrogant attitude and insistence to throw the ball drives me nuts.

If he runs it down in the red zone rather than pass its 28-7 by now.

Our legs look dead we need a bye week
I complain about a lot of Kiffin's playcalling, but there is no doubt how good he is at developing QBs.

I don't particularly mind Kiffin working on the long ball, especially when field position and down and distance favor the Tide. But that don't explain working repeatedly on Hurt's passing chemistry on the goal line in a tight game against the #6 team in the country.

I just get frustrated that he won't just run the damn ball when they can't stop it. We could have put that game out of reach in the first quarter and made me enjoy that game much more but he is stubborn about throwing it around sometimes

How many people had been floated up in the box when we saw those straight passing plays?

They were up there in the box when we were running it down their throats too. I get it.. anything I say you are gonna argue with me about as you don't agree. I must grate on your nerves or something but Lane's play calling aggrivates me sometimes. I have no doubt that he is smarter than me about this .. my experience in calling plays is limited to my sons pee wee teams (we did win a bunch though : )) but I believe in running plays that are working until they can stop it and then be prepared to adjust when they do. Especially when you are running quick tempo and driving it right down the field.

Like I said, I am glad Kiffin came here, I am glad he stayed, he has done a great job with the QB's but I won't be heart Broken when he get's an opportunity to advance his career somewhere else.

Personally, I think Kiffin is a great offensive mind when it comes to scheming/game planning but his play calling in the flow of the game is inconsistent at best. Will not lose a wink of sleep when he leaves. With the exception of the 'wearing out the RB's' line of thinking I do agree with this though:

I think the negative opinions on Kiffin would be put in the basement if we had a QB that was a bit more accurate down field. Ridley has been wide the f*uck open so many times this year and we just miss him deep. I think Kiffin is trying to get that light to go on and get a more consistent down field pass and the best way to do that is to keep trying it. If we only pound the ball left and right, we also wear down out RBs... We need to have BOTH a competent passing game and a Powerful running game. I don't really have many issues with the way Kiffin has been calling games, more so with some of the execution of those passing plays. The one good thing is that Hurts doesn't seem to be "forcing" the deep ball. When he finally get's that touch down, the score board is going to light up even more!

Now see...you made an assumption. I could have been talking about someone else. I wasn't, but still.

Which part got you the angriest? The calling you out on being an internet tough guy or being vague on your gender?

My final point and I will do my part to end this for the benefit of us all. You're an internet tough guy because you wouldn't say 1/10 of the things you say to some of these guys on here to their face. I never accused you of threatening anyone. Based solely on the persona you present in this forum I think you're a mild mannered beta type that uses this medium to act the way you like to daydream about on your lunch breaks. It's probably a nice stress reliever. I don't take up for other posters they can do that if they choose or not, don't care. I do have very limited patience for assholes and those that talk shit. You seem to be proud to be both of those (in this forum) so I give you credit for owning it. In all honesty the fault probably lies with me. So, keep doing your thing and I will keep plugging away on my reasoning skills with the hope of one day figuring it all out. You know..like you.

Oh no, I would absolutely tell you to fuck off and mind your own business right to your sniveling little whiny face.

I take pride in being an asshole in all facets of life.

If all we did was run and never got an 18 year old kid invaluable game reps throwing the ball, we'd have nothing else to adjust to, as you say it.

Then, we'd be one-demensional. Then we get beat.

You cannot disagree with coaching decisions on this forum, including who plays and what plays are called. You may not disparage drug use.

Other than that, you can talk football.

Have fun reading. Joke around. It's all good. Capiche?

Grate on my nerves? You've misunderstood me. We do see things differently, but that's what I was referring to when mentioning perspective. We just look at things differently.

I tend to view opinions and neither right or wrong. It's your view, ya know? I don't have issues with his play calling because I don't know where he's looking at any given time. There's been too many times where I've seen a play break and it hit me out of the blue ... and I consider myself a little knowledgeable when it comes to football. A little, mind you.

Neither will I. We will probably look at it differently though. I like the aspect of him coming here, everyone saying what a dumpster fire it would be, and here we are ...

Reminds me of something I was looking at yesterday. I've always thought Dan Wolken was a dipshit ... but, it's his opinion, right?

At Alabama, doubt replaces a football dynasty

...and then, after 20 straight wins ...

There's already an air of inevitability about Alabama, which has room to improve

His opinion, right?

Wait. When did we stop disparaging drug use? Drugs are bad. If you do use drugs, use many so you don't become one dimensional.

I think it's a little unfair how this year's offense is sometimes being graded. It does seem when we suddenly lose that turbo-sprint down the field and we stop scoring TDs something is desperately wrong with our QB/offense. Nothing new, McElroy specifically went through a tremendous mid-season mediocre spell in 2009, AJ in '11' which included the 'game of the century' against LSU. Blake Sims and Coker had mid-season slumps. That's what teams do and we've seen a number of first-year starters have to fight through it. You hope it doesn't cost you dearly, but no team can play their best game every week. Certainly, no offense I've ever seen. My signature is, 'Have Defense Will Travel,' for a reason.

Hurts vs the aggies didn't look sharp in general throwing the ball by his standards and lack of a better description just didn't have his fastball. He also may be doing that freshman thing and just locks in too much with Ridley and Stewart. Seeing a much more determined effort to get the tight end involved was great to see and was much needed. The aggies had little response to the easier pitch and catch option to Howard. The long ball just hasn't become a weapon yet and timing on crossing routes aren't there all the time. But this is a dangerous offense and has dynamic players in it. When it starts hitting it can accumulate points quickly and Hurt's determination, cool, and running ability and resourcefulness is going to be a tough out for everyone ahead. Book it.
