First off, let me congratulate the Tide on a great season and what is obviously a bright future and reclaiming the tradition of Alabama football. The Tide have been dominant from the opening kickoff thus far, and in my opinion the tigers need to post a few key stops early to set the pace. LSU has an oustanding group of receivers that have been held back by a inexperienced tandem of Quarterbacks. Our running back is a beast, but he can't be effective without a passing game that will keep Nick's high powered defense in check. We are starting a Redshirt freshman quarterback who is making poor decisions, can't seem to check off on receivers, but he does have the potential to be a great QB. That being said, the tigers know all too well the 52+ blitz packages that Tricky Nicky will test Lee's ability to step into the role of leading a great team in the best conference in this game. Fortunately we have a stout o-line that can stand up to the challenges of your d-line. Unfortunately, you're getting man-mountain Cody back for the game. We have been missing a couple of key players on the defensive line, and as a unit, we haven't been clicking as a cohesive unit yet. If this is the game that happens, we'll make one helluva game out of it. If not, we'll be in for a long day while y'all celebrate the red carpet to Atlanta. Our program greatly benefited from Nick's success here, and I do believe that Coach Miles can maintain that success. Most importantly, we need a Defensive Coordinator with balls instead of the split system we are currently using. I was in TTown for the game last year, and had a great time. The atmosphere there was awesome, and like most in this part of the country, the overall fan base was classy and acted as a gracious host. I welcome all to Baton Rouge, and look forward to a battle on the bayou!
