🏈 Can Bama be run on?

Clements thinks so,

"I did a lot of film study on them, and I've seen a lot of teams gash them for a lot of yards," Clement, a junior, told AL.com. "The opposing team always shot themselves in the foot and allowed Alabama to win. I believe Alabama can be run on. It's just, you've got to pound it to them. You can't really run east and west. It's really a north and south game, so it's really going to be in between the trenches."

We shall see, Mr. Clements, we shall see.

What a dumbass. So this guy thinks he figured out what a bunch of coaches that are paid millions to know couldn't? Maybe he outta start coaching because apparently he can watch film and find a team's soft spot.

Alabama CAN be run on. Provided you can make the safeties and linebackers stay back and respect the pass/QB scramble. See Cardell Jones and Ohio State. They shredded this same Alabama front 7 save for the departure of Depriest. But there are a few truths I know about college football. And one of them is Joel Stave is no Cardell Jones. Prepare your anus Wiskey.

I can't wait to find out. We've spent eight Months thinking about this. Eight Months pondering over a game I believe we all feel Bama coulda, shoulda, won against tOSU, and that losing feeling and taste is still nasty. And the only way to erase that taste is with a win. Strange things can happen, and have. I'm counting on Bama taking care of business this year, and Ole Wisky if the first item of business on the agenda.

Roll Tide!

Wisky doesn't have what the Ohio State had. That is a passing game. Just because they threw on the Barn, they think that will open up the run. Hell! I'm 44 and with a bum left shoulder, I could throw for 300 against the Barn!

Yes Bama can be run on. Unfortunately for Wisky, Saban's D generally only gets gashed by the hurry up offenses, particularly with mobile QB's. Bama has a tendancy to over substitute and get caught unprepared at the snap. Unless Wisky plans on changing their identity, I have very little concern with the standard huddling offense gashing consistent big runs on our front 7.

Can Wisconsin just line up and run the ball on us, with a 'stop us if you can mentality' ...we all know the answer to that one. They might catch us with a draw or a trap or misdirection, taking advantage of our own aggressiveness.

Good to see his offensive line at least gives credit where it is due.

"They didn't really surprise us," center Dan Voltz said. "We watched a lot of tape of them. Really good front seven. Hard to find a better front seven across the country. ... They played better than us, flat out."
