🏈 Caleb Williams crying at the end of the game. Thoughts?

I'd put Bo Nix over Williams right now.

Goes to show something we talked about years ago. Malzahn can't develop QB's. Look at Nix. Dayum.
Yea, he definitely came out of nowhere with this season. Williams might be one of the first SURE FIRE 1st overall picks to drop to the 2nd round after a season. I know 1st rounders who have dropped, never seen the guy everyone labeled as #1 overall drop this much in everyone's eyes.

Emotion is part of the game and it will get to you when that final snap comes.
My Junior year of HS saw tears flowing after a playoff loss. It wasn’t my last game, but my last with a good group of seniors. My senior year came to a close sitting in the stands watching 2 other teams decide our playoff fate. It was a dull feeling, but I knew I had some practices coming at UA.
The biggest problem I see in today’s game is the “look at me, look what I did” mentality and celebrating after a play. Like those other 10 guys on your unit that did their job didn’t have anything at all to do with your success.
Someone mentions McCarron’s emotions down at Red Stick. That was perhaps AJ’s finest moment in Crimson. The season on the line, trailing against your bitter rival on the road, all of your goals 80+ yards away and possibly all crashing to an end.

The big difference between McCarron, Tebow and Williams is McCarron and Tebow didn’t say “Look at me! Look at me! Pay attention to me!” Williams does anything he can to draw attention to himself (painting his nails with obscenities towards his opponents, signing endorsement deals that make him the center of attention, “demanding” a future contract that would put him way above the existing pay structure for draftees). Williams is a good QB, but he’s losing support from fans.

Bo is putting up some big numbers and solid performances. But I’d like to see him against a good defense. Only played one SEC team last year and real opponent outside the PAC 12 and they put up 3 points. This year only PAC 12 defenses they’ve faced. But he’s no-doubt had the best of his 12 seasons this year.

Agree 100%!!

That tells you everything you need to know.

I see a common denominator among 3 if the 4 guys we’re mentioning for Heisman. Heck, Make it 4 of 5 if you count all the talk S. Sanders got to start the year. PAC 12… To me, Daniels is the best. If he can carve up A&M like he did us, then he’ll be golden in my book. We just have to wait three more weeks for that.
