šŸˆ Caleb Williams crying at the end of the game. Thoughts?

I don’t have a problem with players having emotional moments after a big game. In fact, I’d much rather see a player cry after losing a big game than laughing. Some get emotional after a big win or once the a big win is assured … like AJ did against LSU. No one ever doubted Tebow’s commitment to winning. He poured his heart and soul into leading Florida to another NC trophy. So, it stands to reason he would get emotional when Bama manhandled he and his gator brethren in the SEC Championship game. Seeing him on the sideline tearing up made me emotional too … though for a much different reason. Yeah, I felt bad a week or so later as I actually like Tebow … that is as long as he wasn’t playing against Bama. I mean I loved how he dominated UT … and UGA too now that I think about it. Of course, I like anyone who whoops up on the vile’s

Have zero issues with a player getting emotional. Sports are emotional when you put everything into it. You can win ir all and lose it all on one play. BUT, this guy is all about himself and doesn't get a pass from me with his antics, comments, and the perception he emits. He likely knew the cameras were on him and wanted his air time and sympathy after a loss. He needs to grow up big time, and is not someone I care to build a team around in a multi-billion dollar company.

Not an issue but he was humbled a lot in the last few weeks every since the report of him wanting to have partial ownership and then the heisman hype and other stuff.. He humbled.
That's what my take falls along with...

An inflated ego, spurred on by the Hypeman award, runs into reality.

The comparisons to Tebow? Expected. I see two different competitors.

Williams may very well be a self serving pretentious douche, but for this incident, I find no fault.
If I may wax philosophically. A great study in human behavior. We're a year removed from Daniels painting his fingernails "Fuck ____" so and so.

I also see what I'll call emotional instability: look back to "how it began" and "how it is now." I don't see that translating to the league.

If y’all recall, Williams’ dad came out even before the ā€œpartial ownership wishesā€ and said that his son may just decide to stay in college IF they don’t like the team that is set to draft him 1st overall!! Screams to me that he thinks way too much of himself over his team and teammates.

I’d love to see his draft stock take a dive. Remember, he’ll be playing a B1G schedule and have to deal with the travel and the weather.
