DeBoer will hold his Monday press conference in a little while... I would expect some sort of update on Russaw, but things were trending in a good direction yesterday... sounds like Bama dodged another bullet there in terms of a major injury.

DeBoer's update on Russaw... paraphrasing, the bye week is huge, later in the week we think he will be able to do some stuff, he's progressing well.
The comment on Young wasn't as promising, but he didn't really say much other than he will continue to be evaluated.
He also stated Cole Adams is progressing well.

Doesn't mean they won't be in meetings and going over film/study. They may just be taking some time away from full practice for a day or two.

Man, stay home. Everytime he comes to the town, Bama dont play well.
1-1 record, a Bama win over UGA and a loss to LSU... but the security lines... no thanks. I doubt they'd be quite as bad as last time under normal circumstances, but seeing what all has happened in the last 2 months, these aren't normal circumstances. He actually had tentative plans on coming to the LSU game last year, but those got scrubbed. Maybe these will as well...

The conditioning hasn't stopped. It's not like the guys are sitting around with a 12 pack and a pizza. I could call and ask but I'll bet ya the football building was jumping at five this morning. Jalen, likely the first one there (if he beat Sheridan today.)

I certainly hope so… Jox made it sound like the team was off a few days… but I remember it actually did work for the Green Bay Packers during a bye week.. I can’t remember who they beat that time.. but they claimed the week off refreshed the entire team..

On the other hand, imagine the visit on the heels of Bama winning against UGA. It's not only your ESPN's or SECN's covering Bama, DeBoer, Tuscaloosa, and Trump. It's all the Sunday shows news networks. Likely bleeding into Monday.

IF the team was "goofing off" these last few days you would have seen a HELL OF A LOT of Bama fans raising hell. I'll go as far as to say, you would have seen it here because there are quite a few pretty close to the program. I would be raising hell. Trust me.

Trump visit confirmed today, plus it was announced today that he has been given full POTUS level security detail... so it will be a madhouse...

It was gonna be a madhouse anyways. Top 5 matchup early in the season of DeBoer's first season. Dawgs are hungry for a win against Alabama, and we are curious to what we have as well. It was going to be a very intense weekend already.
My buddy that used my tickets for the LSU game said it wasn't any different than any other normal big game he's been to.
