Lol.. Bunch of negativity here today. Jk Scott and Adam griffin being head cases are difficult to explain. Is there another Tiffin in the pipeline?

Our defense just shutdown and beat up one of the best run games and offensive lines in the country. Our offense was efficient and very multiple even though we missed on several easy long balls.

Wisconsin was relegated to trying to run a pick play and swing/screen play move the ball at all and when we adjusted. They were able to hit a couple pass plays But our defense wasn't far off.

It wasn't perfect but it was a solid win over a solid team. We have a ridiculous schedule, we aren't going undefeated most likely but we should be a bruising and fun team to watch.

Relax though as you are out of eligibility and Saban is pretty good at his job.

Roll tide y'all

It started slow, but I was very happy with what we got from Coker. The guy did exactly what was asked, simply don't turn over the ball. I would like to see the secondary toughen up, but there were some weak ass calls from the refs, on both sides, so I need to see another game or two before I truly talk about the secondary. We score 35 a game and I'll be happy.

I drew a lot of positives from the game. Look at the scoring summary.

Bama takes the lead on their second drive. After exchanging punts, Wisconsin ties the game. The following drive was an eight play, 88 touchdown drive. That's an offense answering.

They open the third and another touchdown drive in the first possession. 21, and in two more possessions it's a 28 - 7 ball game. Over, essentially.

Methodical. Productive. I like that from a young offense going into game two of the season.

If we played the game Auburn played I would be among the Negative Nancys myself, but Bama played a good game. Yes there are things that need to get better as there always will be. But all in all they played a good game. I think it is possible we sold out on the run too much and that left those short dink and dunk things open too much, but that is the nature of the game at times. Good win over a quality opponent.

The biggest negative I have was the damn procedure penalty on Wisky when he missed the last FG. Backed him up 5 yards and he nails it on the second attempt. Moving the points to 52 and blowing my $5K wager on the Under 51.

The game was exactly like the Michigan game, which is what I and another guy predicted. I feel a lot better than I did this time last year after the sub-par West Virginiaor the year before that and the Virginia Tech performance.

Glad to hear that some folks saw what I did. We had worn them down and had started to beat up Stave' and we put in 2nd and third string like 7 minutes into the 3rd quarter and toned down the offense . The game could have easily been 49-10 or so. The last touchdown drive for them I counted four freshman on the field three of them in the secondary.

It was Saban showing class and saving bumps and bruises as our schedule gets stupid here soon.

Yes I was negative during the game but that has nothing to do with how I feel about the team. I do want CNS to fire Charlie Brown as the kicking coach and get that fixed, because even he knows we are going to need that in a clutch game. Maybe he doesn't think we are going to be in a clutch game.

I am very pleased with the offence and sticking to the run as much as possible. Henry is a Tank with a turbocharger, and the QB issue was solved. Drake looked good and the team looked prepared for a first game. Roll Tide Roll. It will get better as the year goes on. I am a glass half full thinker but sometimes as @Mr Chase says, you got to let the whiskey do the talking. It's all good fun and this site helps to make it so.

I, too, was extremely negative during the game... Face Guarding by the Frosh DB's... 11 penalties for 120... Throwing the long ball, short/long and HOLDING (Dakota, Ross and even Cam, you know who I'm talking about).
I was very impressed with King Henry (for the 1st time in his Bama Career, he overcame hits and kept on ticking). Very impressed with the depth at WR (Now need a couple of them to go get the ball like Coop). AND the DL.. man, when you are rotating the #2 & #3 guys in during the 1st qtr, the opposing OL has to think LORDY gonna be a long night.
Fitz - there is something to be excited about; a bit more experience... a force to be reckoned with for the next 3 years (no way he is here for his senior (or NFL rookie season)
Now, replace Booby Williams with someone who can coach Special teams and TE's... did I mention Black took a knee on the 7?... but BLACK took a knee on the 7.. *4 minutes to go.... and let's get the next guy up for PK..AG is f'd in the head. not sure he will make another one this year???
ROLL TIDE ALABAMA!! ROLL TIDE (does feel better to get those negative vibes out)
