Played it twice. Once with a group of guys on a golf trip. Then the next year, attended a sales meeting in the Phoenix area. Beware of coyotes at dusk!!

I've watched golf for thirty years, but until this weekend, I've never seen this colosseum hole. Bobby Jones is rolling over in his grave. Ha! That's wild! When Sam Ryder made the ace yesterday...that was the loudest noise I've ever heard on a golf course.

I saw a few say "just wait until someone gets hit by a bottle." That a bit on the risk-adversive side of takes considering how often we'll see an Ace. There is one thing I don't like about the whole spectacle.

Imagine if you're in the group following and your ball ends up plugged because of all the crap thrown around the green? There no doubt that the conditions of the hole changed for the later groups and that bothers me a bit.

They selling bottles, or those light metal ones? I don't think you go patronize this one hole if you're worried about the celebration aspect. They all know what they're getting into.

My #1 bucket list course is Augusta National. I know I know, how generic and cliché for a golfer. BUT, I have Augusta family ties that pre-date the tournament in Augusta that just raised me on the mystique. My grandfather knew members and loved Augusta the town more than anything. Growing up I always dreamed of playing it professionally just for him, but other sports took precedent. It's got nothing to do with the tournament with why I want to play, but more for the stories I was raised on and for who was telling them to me.

Ha Ha. The good thing about St. Andrews is that as long as you can afford the traveling portion of the trip you can get on the course relatively easy if you plan.

We were supposed to go to Scotland during spring break in 2020. Were... I really wanted to go to the course. I would have at least walked on that bridge. That was a big no.

I have a cousin that got to play St Andrews. He called me from the course and said the coolest thing about it was that he was playing on a course that was older than our country!!
