I'm not sure there's ever been a better designed offense than 2020 Alabama. There are great players on the offense, but the design of the offense to accentuate what the players do well is perhaps unprecedented. LSU 2019 is the only other.

At this point he has the luxury of sitting back and waiting for the perfect job for him no need to rush.

Hard to argue this. Making more than some head coaches. Having the athletes makes that job even easier. I am sure Saban has him on a loose chain and not as tight as some others, so his freedom is probably nice.

ESPNU just replayed the NC game v. Jawja earlier. I think every member of that offense except for Najee, Smitty, and Leatherwood are on NFL rosters now. And that offense grows, adapts, and gets better every year.

Heart surgery can and often does change a person's perspective on life. Normally for the good. Just my opinion here, but he seems to have immersed himself into his job at hand more this year and the results seem to prove that out. Hopefully he is satisfied and fulfilled working for (with) Coach Saban. The Broyles Award is the cherry on top of a tremendous year for him.
A well deserved congratulations to CSS for the great year of coaching and for the cherry on top.
