from what i saw he was ok and came back in the game a play later.

That (edit) that hit him with his own helmet needs to grow a pair. You wanna fight, then fight but don't go all "U" on somebody.

The rest of the Razorbacks team played too damn hard to have some (edit) ruin it with a punk move.

 Really surprised when I saw that . By the way, doesn't the SEC have a mandatory one game suspension for ejected players? I'll be curious to see what the league AND Arkansas does about that incident.

what really got me pissed, and maybe i just didnt see it, but when he went to the sidelines not one coach for Arkansas got in his face or nothing for that (edit) he did. he just went to the sideline and watched. maybe i just didnt see a coach chew him out tho.

I think he should be suspended for the rest of the season. If he's a senior, too freakin' bad. He'd never play another snap this year if I was the SEC Commissioner.

i don't agree with players being allowed to stay on the field when they get ejected. i think they should be made to leave the game entirely; not being allowed to stand on the sidelines and watch, but leave the game entirely and go back to the locker room and change out of their uniform.

I may be wrong but I think the rule says he must leave the field and if he doesnt it could mean more suspention. I could be wrong.

Your allowed to stay on the sidelines in college after an ejection (pros must leave the field)

The Ark coaches did give the guy an earfull by the way. I sit behind the opposing bench and an assitant gave him a good chewing followed by Nutt a couple of min later.

The guy also tried to get in on a defensive huddle on the sideline and the same assitant basically jerked him up and removed him from the rest of team. 8)

The player that hit Britt was already in trouble from drug charges if I am not mistaken.....and several other charges as well....great senior leadership.

Given the general mood of the section that I was sitting in after it happened, I thought they might have to escort him out for his own safety.

he meant sidelines. they're allowed to sit on the sidelines for the remainder of the game instead of having to go to the lockerroom (like they do in the NFL).

Nope. It was a different player who has the drug charges looming over his head.

By the way, I remember when I was removed from the field during a game against an Army team. We were playing Hurlong and tempers erupted between out two teams on a play that was blown dead and two of Hurlong's players continued to go after our runningback and slam him. No punches had been thrown but things were definitely getting heated. I was completely innocent as I was lined up wide and did not see what had happned. When I realized what was going on I ran towards all of the pushing and shoving thinking that I would try to calm things down. One of Hurlong's players said something smart to me and I told him to f off. The oficial tossed me out of the game. I was rather angry because of this and started walking slowly off the field when the official ran up behind me and yelled for me to get off the field now. I responded that I was going and he came up and pushed me in the back and said "Now". I turned and started after the official when my coach and several of my teammates ran out and drug off the field. The official then told my coach that I had to be removed from the field.
