Brent was in Tuscaloosa last week MR. SEC.com says Alabama, Auburn and Florida want him

since the other schools have finished their bowl game the deal would be done with one of those ; so Alabama should where he ends up.

No matter who the offensive coordinator is, we'll still be running the same offense.

And, as it is, he really hasn't proven anything as far as OC is concerned. He's only spent one year at Boise State in that position, was the OC for a dismal Baylor team and prior to that a dismal UK team.

One season as OC and QB coach and he's ready? I have my doubts...at least with our offense I do.

He's probably UF bound. I don't think he'd be a good fit in T-Town. Saban isn't going to change the offense. There are many OCs that can run your offense. Find someone that is a decent QB coach and be done with it

I agree with the needing a QB friendly coach position that others are taking. As long as the person is a good playcaller and teacher then we'll be good.

With all that said I will say this: in Saban I trust. Whoever he wants is whoever I want. If he thinks Pease is the man for the job, then I say go for it.

It's a variation of the spread with the QB under center very little, if at all.

If you were to ask Chris Peterson what kind of offense he ran he'd say "multiple." :rofl: Bottom line, it's more of a H-back centered offensive scheme.

Old thread, a member was suggesting what a great hire he'd be in Jan 2012. He's been the OC at Florida for a few years and the writing on the wall says he won't be with Florida much longer.
