Aggies bumped Sumlin from $2MM a year to $3.1MM a year following Manziel's first year playing (11-2 record dur largely in part to Manziel...). Then after year 2 of Manziel, bumped him to $5MM per year for 6 years! That after a 8-4 season. So from 11-2, to 9-4 to now either 8-5 or 7-6. Not a good return for that raised investment...
