🏈 Bo Scar Update

Had this on the Wooley but I will share it here. Bo scar a week and a half ago had a knee strength test. His injured knee and his healthy knee were identical. Bo is a freak of nature that is no secret. He has already participated in 7 on 7. So at this point contact is the last test.

No, the last test is mental. Some guys put it right behind them, others play trepidatiously for a long time, until they get their mental confidence back. It's going to be the same with Kenyan. Let's hope they are both mentally tough enough to put it right behind them.

I didn't mention mental with bo scar because he has recovered faster than anyone thought twice. Not my concern with him.

I think the mental aspect is the least of his concerns. The guy already is coming in a year after he wanted and enrolled early, so I think he is like Drake and ready to roll. Obviously Scarborough and the doctors know best, so we'll see.

Plus one for using the word "trepidatiously". Plus ten for the chick n the jersey.

Personally, and this is my opinion, each individual has unique healing abilities. Some heal slower, some heal faster. You are all correct when you say mentally he has to be right. I've seen people to "will theirselves to live" when they should've been dead a long time before. So nothing is impossible but he need also to think of the future. If all goes well with football, as we all think , he'll be worth millions.

That's true, but there are far more "can't miss prospects" who get hurt and can't get back. Look at Lattimore, jury's out on Gurley. For every Frank Gore, there are dozens of great backs (Kerry Goode, Gene Jelks, etc.) who don't get back to form. I know advances in knee reconstruction and rehab have been incredible over the past twenty years, but there are many guys who don't pan out in the league without being severely injured (unfortunately, Trent's looking that way). The injury is yet another hurdle.

I was reading today about Gurley at the Rams camp. He hurt his knee back in November and they still aren't letting him go 100%. Bo hurt his knee in March/April. He may be superhuman, but Gurley is too (the Rams don't expect him to play in the first month). If Bo is participating in 7 on 7, it's not by doing much. My bet is he's rehabbing while everyone else is doing true 7 on 7 work. Bo can't afford another knee injury. If he gets one, he'll be lucky to get a free agent look by the pros.

If Bo can go in Oct or Nov, that would be great. A fresh pair of legs down the gauntlet and into the Championship Months of Dec and Jan. And it would give our other legs (Henry & Drake) a chance to rest and contribute while not getting beaten up.
