Just had to scroll down to answer my first question ....

My uncle was a F 14 tomahawk pilot during the first gulf war . He has some pretty awesome video and stories ...

The Apache is my favorite bird of prey .... I got to work at Fort Rucker building stat targets and running targets in the middle of the woods for them to shoot to shit . They put on a couple of shows throughout the job and asked if we wanted to attend . I did every time asked ..

That's seriously cool. I love the Apache (that thing is a savage) but the B-1 will always be my favorite aircraft.

I like watching the videos of the Apache in action. The A-10 Warthog is a bad ass machine as well!!

Warthog is my absolute favorite. When I was a kid, we went down to see my aunt/uncle in Niceville, he worked at Eglin AFB, I watched a large Gatling gun shoot into a sandpit, pretty certain it was the 30mm from the A10. I used to have a dummy round from that trip, my mom still might have it in her attic somewhere.

Well since we're giving our favorites I'm going to have to say mine would be the A-12, YF-12 and the SR-71. The Blackbirds!

Have you gotten to see one in person? There's a Blackbird at the Udvar Hazy hangar out in Northern VA near where I used to live. Used to go visit that bird pretty frequently. Boy are they sleek.

I understand the SR71 leaks like crazy on the ground, all the seals tighten up at speed/attitude.

Someone told me (think it was a pilot) that when the SR71 did the San Diego airshow, it takes about 100 miles for it to turn around at speed. Wrap your head around that. Basically it's making the turn just before Arizona...
