I hate it for them seriously. I think the biggest problem for any purebred is the fact they are more susceptible to disease. I love Saint Bernards but I have had no long term luck with them due to diseases. Now I go with a mutt from the shelter and man the luck is better.

English Bulldogs don't have a super long life span anyway. It's sad indeed, but at the same time I'm sure the jokes are spreading quick!
