It's not because of them not being around to win championships, it's because they play virtually a one game season. I mean, we go through the SEC and play ranked team after ranked team and they play VT and a bunch of nobodies and they deserve to be in? Maybe in a playoff. With that said, the sport needs to go to a playoff system.

Like I said earlier, I want them to go undefeated & GET LEFT OUT of the BCS MNCG. I don't want them in there in place of Alabama or an undefeated ohio st. The entire purpose is to kick, kick, kick, kick, & kick at the door until we FINALLY kick it down & have a playoff (16 teams) in the only sport on Earth that doesn't determine it's champion on the field.

So until we have what we should have had over 100 years ago....Go (insert BCS Buster here)!!!

Well, I agree but the likelihood that Boise State will be left out if they go undefeated is slim it seems. They're starting at number 3 and I just don't see Ohio State making it through unscathed.

Then....there'd be no problem. ohio st. isn't undefeated & more than likely, Alabama, BSU, & ohio st. are the three teams that have the best chance at going undefeated. So if ohio st. loses to Purdon't, BSU is undefeated, Alabama loses by 1 at home to Florida, but beats Florida by 8 TDs in the SECCG....how could you not let them in?

Not to mention, despite BSU showing up big-time for big-time games....I like 'Bama's chances of beating them as opposed to a "real" team. So, win-win for us, right?

If it comes down to a 1 loss Ohio State and an undefeated Boise State this year, I foresee Boise State getting the nod.

Boise State is for real. They might not be used to the heat and humidity, but they are definitely not afraid of going toe to toe with VT.

Based on what happened in the 1st half, if VT can muster another good drive the BSU defense will be too tired to stop them. I think that might be the difference in the game.
