🏈 Best Athlete on the Team

AJ was a pitcher in HS as well and was a pretty dang good one if memory serves me right. Christion was an all-state player at Minor High School while playing both sides of the ball. That was why he was worked at DB some.

C.J. and then Dee Hart. Talking athleticism not overall speed or strength, but athleticism. Kind of what you would consider pound-for-pound who is the guy that is strong, fast, and coordinated. Watching them on the field, I feel confident these are the guys that, physically, you can show them something or ask them to perform and they could probably accomplish the task before any of the others. I don't think AJ is strong enough or fast enough to fit that criteria. Without timing anyone, I think Drake is the fastest guy on the team. Even faster than Jones.

Although I agree Drake may be fastest, I've heard Bradley Sylve mentioned as being the fastest on the team several times.

I'm of the belief that cornerbacks and safeties are the best athletes because they have to be quick, fast, leaping skills and hand eye stuff... Clinton-Dix... Monica's favorite or possibly Jai Miller, who we've not seen yet... a former minor leaguer... I say if you can run with a wide out and hit a 90 mph baseball, you might be the better athlete... ( see Bo Jackson)

Coming out of high school I would agree. Half a second faster in the 200 and more amazingly in the 100 as well. Those are FAT times as well. They're correct. I'm not so sure now. It's much easier to gauge speed though, I think, watching someone with the ball. Makes you marvel though at Marvin Bracy, the FSU player who quit to run track full time, who ran a half second faster than Sylve!

Pure speed, the other guys have a step in track on HaHa and Collins (though Landon did have some unreliable hand times that were really fast). Point taken on the DB's. You have to have loose hips to play DB (see Marlon Humphrey ;) )
