I ran across this article about the 1958 'Bama vs. LSU game today, and I don't believe that it has been posted here. It's a decent read, and points out a few interesting similarities to this past season.

A nice read. Thanks for posting it. I remember listening to that one on the radio when I was around 10 years old. That same team played a physically far superior Auburn team almost on even terms. the Barn had a 14-0 lead in the second half, but we scored a TD and a 2 point conversion, got the ball back and at the end Jackson's long pass was just off Spruiell's fingertips, and the Barn held us off. If memory serves me here, the Barn didn't score on us again until 1963.
