Interesting but if Bama football were 10th in recruiting we would be up in arms. I completely understand that as well and relatively speaking Oats is doing a great job and only getting better. I would love for him to sustain and exceed this level of recruiting going forward. If he does that then the results on the court will follow.

There's something to look at: rankings based on points and the difference between football signing 21 vs 25 and basketball signing three vs four. It seems it would be skewed from the onset.

Not fully following but shouldn't this always be relative to the people you will be competing against? If you have better players you are more likely to win?

We have three guys committed so far (2 5-stars and 1 4-star). I count seven teams above us due to the fact that they have more commitments and Kentucky with 3 5-star commits.

Also in basketball, the player's ranking means little compared to how each player fits the system and their development. Keon Ellis was a 3-star combo guard from JUCO and he's probably going to be our most consistent player this season.
