Observations.
First half .. in the first 5-8 minutes, Alabama defense was getting killed on the screen, that's interesting because they know it was coming and yet they didn't make an effort to beat the screen. Players could've gave better efforts.
They had few players that was overhelping on the defense, and when you are trapping the guy in the corner and he pass to an open guy, Get in front of them, instead of trying to deflect the pass. that resulted in few wide open looks for Ole Miss.
2nd half was much better. They played harder and gave better efforts. IMO, I can see what Oats were saying about players not playing hard on defense and paying attention to details.

In the last few seconds of the game he was credited with his 10th assist. No idea where it came from, but the official scorer added it.
Nelson works really hard.....both ends of court....
Sometimes ( dribbling for a long time) he shows some inexperience...l
But getting better......has a pretty good shot from 3 too
