🏀 GAME THREAD 🏀 SEC / NCAA Games of the Week: --

Guess who I bet big on...
I gotta ask. How did you come to the conclusion to take Vandy, on the road at UArk, in this one? Now, Vandy does hold a small metrical lead in wins above the mean/bubble, but it's about a digit (Torvick.) Miya was giving Vandy a few points in his metrics which were null after you figure HCA into the mix.

The MOV shocks me. Vandy being a lot better at home than in Fayetteville? Not so much.

Arkansas is hammering Vanderbilt. Don't think there is a more Jekyll and Hyde team than Arkansas right now.
They haven't been getting good guard play on the road. Coincidently, it was one of the reasons Vanday was getting as much love as they have been except there it's been about good guard play at home.

FWIW... Some chatter this morning that Bama vs. Tennessee may get bumped up to Friday night this week due to weather.
I've had this in the back of my mind while talking about the weather on the other forum.

Friday, Track and Field / Cross Country has an invitational event in Clemson. That's going to be cold. Do they stay overnight? If all that is moving in Friday night that's not a good time to be driving a bus back to Tuscaloosa.

The way they played us and how they've played I felt they could put up points. Arkansas has simply fooled me with their up and down ways.

Guard play on the road stuck out to me this year. Take Thomas. He's over 40 in FG and 3PT's (average) and was 1-8 at UGA the other day (3's) and in the mid-20's over all (4-17, I think it was.) .333 against Ole Miss, then .500 from three against Auburn.

I think they are 2-4 on the road this season.

Yeah, I bought too much into the game against us. Home game as you stated, but they ran well and looked strong.

UConn’s women’s team is in my hotel tonight. Maybe this is a men’s BBall thread, but worth mentioning. A few of them were very attractive when they walked through the lobby to head to the game. Not that any of us are their type.

Think UNC-Virginia is the best game on right now.
Did you catch any of the UK v Ole Miss game? I've heard few announcers want a team to be better than they are than Dennis Scott was with Kentucky today. Wes Durham isn't too bad. He deserves better.

Not a bad ball game to boot. I was surprised Ole Miss hung around like they did. OR, maybe UK isn't as good as I think they are.

Barely. Saw Ole Miss to tie it at 37 and then UK went on a run. That was about all I could handle.

Kentucky has gone on a five-game winning streak.
