I wonder if Oats knows how much the secret Duke collective has in the coffers and how much they are paying recruits to come to Duke. I haven’t found firm numbers on that, but I know they are sure pulling top guys like they always have. NIL didn’t impact their recruiting at all, other than maybe helping it!

Time to get this thread rolling. Alabama's got a really good recruiting class coming in. Richardson is going to be a star, but Qayden Samuels is a straight up baller IMO. I think Oats and Murphy are looking to add one more.

There will for sure be some roster turnover. Philon gone. Holloway (likely) gone. I can't see Bol Bowen or Bristow coming back. Unfortunately Davion Hannah may leave, which I hope doesn't happen.

My hope is Amari Allen comes back, despite getting some interest to go to the NBA. He's got a lot to improve on if he wants to be a first rounder. Jemison should be back. Lastly, I think Alabama needs Sherrell to come back. He struggles with physicality and on the boards, but he's still a solid player familiar with the offense.

We desperately needed a Juwan Gary-type forward this season. Bristow seemed to be that but then got injured. I don't know if the NIL rumors with him are true or not. But it sucked seeing him vs Illinois and then the team be without someone with that energy. Could have used him tonight.

Next season's team desperately needs better forwards. Not tweeners either.

I’m not for sure if he’s returning or not, but my understanding is Oats wants him back.
